All performances take place on Friday evenings at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, Texas.
The Northeast Orchestra (NEO) is an all-volunteer community orchestra located in Tarrant County, Texas. Our primary mission is to provide performance opportunities for talented musicians and to enrich the community by performing standard symphonic literature, as well as establishing and maintaining other educational and cultural programs that will further the goals of the orchestra and the community.
Founded in 1989, Northeast Orchestra members are drawn from all walks of life and are united by their love for making music and a desire to give back to the community. Our members are unpaid, and our modest budget for music, equipment and operations comes from ticket sales and subscriptions, program advertisements, fundraisers and donations from our generous patrons.
We rehearse and perform at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, Texas, under the baton of our music director and conductor, Thomas A. Connely. Our goal is to present a family-friendly, fun and inviting atmosphere at our concerts, while also striving to maintain a high level of musical craftsmanship in all our performances.
We invite you to browse our web site where you can learn more about us and also purchase tickets for our upcoming season!
