For several years, the Northeast Orchestra has been sponsoring an informal chamber music festival for adult amateurs who enjoy playing chamber music and meeting new players.
The primary goal of the program is to connect area amateur musicians thereby opening up playing and performance opportunities; and to facilitate music making by providing a venue for meeting and rehearsing.
There are no public performances and the program is focused on skill development and the enjoyment of playing together. There is the opportunity for each participant group to receive professional chamber music coaching from a local chamber music professor.
